£49 million has been announced in today's Budget for North East Derbyshire.
This funding is coming via the Town Deal programme and will be spent over the coming years on new projects across both Clay Cross and Staveley, in conjunction with local residents.
North Derbyshire was one of the first fifty areas in the whole country to start vaccinating in mid-December when the Royal Hospital began administering doses on the day it became available. Since then, thousands of staff and over 80s attending the hospital have been vaccinated.
