Lee Rowley MP visited the new Sharley Park Leisure Centre recently with local Councillors and other Clay Cross Town Board members. This will be known as Clay Cross Active, because of the health and other facilities that will be there too when it opens to the public.

Lee Rowley MP welcomed the official opening of the Clay Cross Banking Hub on the 24th November 2023. The hub is located at the old Fultons Foods store on the Parade in Bridge Street and the official opening took place this morning with a ribbon cutting ceremony attended by Lee and others.
Alongside local Councillors, Lee held a public meeting in Killamarsh to discuss GP provision after requests from residents for a detailed discussion. Dozens of residents attended, alongside representatives of the Medical Centre, to go through their long-standing concerns and questions.
Last Friday, a major new summit was held - bringing together politicians, business representatives, regional transport bodies, Councils and residents - to discuss the continuing work to reduce congestion on the A61 Derby Road.
