Lee Rowley MP visits the new Sharley Park Leisure Centre

Lee Rowley MP visited the new Sharley Park Leisure Centre recently with local Councillors and other Clay Cross Town Board members.  This will be known as Clay Cross Active, because of the health and other facilities that will be there too when it opens to the public.

Campaign success for Lee Rowley MP as Clay Cross Banking Hub opens!

Lee Rowley MP welcomed the official opening of the Clay Cross Banking Hub on the 24th November 2023. The hub is located at the old Fultons Foods store on the Parade in Bridge Street and the official opening took place this morning with a ribbon cutting ceremony attended by Lee and others.

Lee Rowley MP holds public meeting to discuss GP provision in Killamarsh

Alongside local Councillors, Lee held a public meeting in Killamarsh to discuss GP provision after requests from residents for a detailed discussion.  Dozens of residents attended, alongside representatives of the Medical Centre, to go through their long-standing concerns and questions.

Another £20 million to improve Chesterfield town centre!

Lee has welcomed the news that Chesterfield has been awarded £20 million in funds to help regenerate it's town centre.  The specific details on this fund will be announced in the coming months but, broadly, the £20 million is a ten-year ‘endowment style’ fund.  It will now be down to Chesterfield
