In one of his first visits as the new Member of Parliament for North East Derbyshire, Lee Rowley visited the April Park Care Home in Eckington as part of their annual Open Day.
Lee met with residents and staff at the home and spent time talking about how the home operates as a busy and thriving hub for so many people.
"Thanks to everyone who found time for me today," said Lee. "It was great to meet residents and hear about everything they do. It was also fantastic to meet a resident who was 99 years old and worked at the same pit as my grandfather did in Killamarsh - that wasn't something I was expecting! Thanks to everyone for a great day."
