Thursday, 21 November, 2013

As the formal government consultation on High Speed Two continues, Lee Rowley attended the regular meeting of the local action group in Killamarsh this evening.

Killamarsh & Renishaw High Speed Two Action Group meet on a regular basis to discuss to their concerns about the proposed link and the effect on Killamarsh.  Lee sat in the audience at the Killamarsh leisure centre to listen to the points raised by local residents.

"I was really glad to be able to attend tonight and listen," said Lee.  "The residents have real concerns about High Speed Two and the major impact it will have on Killmarsh.  They were particularly exercise about the recent consultation meetings which didn't really seem to offer any answers to the questions they are raising."
