Lee Rowley MP was out supporting Small Business Saturday today to showcase some of the fantastic local businesses on our high streets across North East Derbyshire.
As part of his first Small Business Saturday since being elected, Lee visited small businesses in both Eckington and Clay Cross to find out more about what they are doing, the challenges they face and how he can help as the local MP.
In Eckington, Lee visited thriving small business The Allotment which sells fresh fruit and vegetables to the local community from a premises on the High Street. Lee then followed up by visiting Clay Cross DIY on Market Street in the afternoon which is a long-standing local business much valued by the town community.
"Thanks to both The Allotment and Clay Cross DIY for letting me visit today," said Lee. "It's great to hear about small businesses are thriving in North East Derbyshire and I'm very keen to support them in any way I can."
