North East Derbyshire MP, Lee Rowley, today visited a local pub as part of his continuing set of meetings with businesses across the constituency.
Lee visited the newly re-opened Tupton Tap on Derby Road, Tupton which, since opening its doors in the Summer, has become an integral part of the local community again in that area.
"It was great to be able to visit the Tupton Tap today and see all the great work that is being done by Kim and the team to bring back such an important local landmark," said Lee. "Thanks to everyone who I met and to Heineken for arranging the visit. We also managed to speak about the issues which other landlords have told me about on other visits - business rates and beer duty - which I know are important concerns for the sector in North East Derbyshire."
