May Day means only one thing in North East Derbyshire - a visit to the Ashover annual celebration!
Lee joined local Councillors William Armitage and Barry Lewis along with hundreds of local residents at another packed Ashover May Day celebration.
Along with completing the fun run with a hundred other locals, Lee also spent time with residents discussing the latest position on the various planning applications, including the imminent application expected for the land close to The Bourne.
"It was great to be back in Ashover again for another fantastic event," said Lee. "It was particularly nice to see so many friends and people I know and also have the time to talk in more detail regarding the planning applications. Ashover remains threatened by inappropriate development and, if elected as MP in a few weeks time, I would try to help residents in any way I could to protect the historic character of this village."
