Last Tuesday Lee spent two hours talking to local sixth formers at his old school about local and national politics, and what it takes to change things.
The discussion, which covered A-Level students taking General Studies, lasted for two hours, primarily with Lee and the students involved in an open discussion about how the political process works today. Lee was grilled on a range of topics as diverse as the deficit, taxation, potholes, smoking in cars and alcohol.
"It was great to go back into school so many years after I left," said Lee. "It was also brilliant to see the level of engagement from local students from across our area - they really put me through my paces! St. Mary's continues to demonstrate its stellar reputation and I am really proud to be an old boy of such a great place."
