Lee Rowley and local Councillors in Dronfield ran and completed today the Dronfield FC 10k run to raise some additional funds for a small organisation in the town.
The run, which starts at the ground of Shireoaks Road and takes in Coal Aston, Apperknowle, Hundall and the top of Unstone, is ten kilometres around some of the most beautiful parts of North East Derbyshire - and some steep hills! Along with Lee, Leader of Dronfield Town Council, Councillor Angelique Foster, and Dronfield Woodhouse Councillor Roger Hall also took part.
"It was great to be able to do another 10k!", said Lee. "It's a really good way to meet local people and to get involved with local activities - and try to better the personal best (something I didn't quite manage to do this time!)"
