Earlier this week, Lee Rowley spent some time speaking with local residents in Old Tupton regarding the proposed Coupe Lane development of around 300 houses on farmland to the west of the road.
Local residents are rightly concerned about the significant impact this development may have on the local area and Lee listened at length about the challenges and the difficulties that it would create from residents.
"This is another example of the challenges we face in North East Derbyshire because the Council haven't put in place an appropriate, considered and thought-through local plan," said Lee. "I would encourage all residents to get in touch with the Council now to make their views known on this application."
