LOCAL PLAN CONSULTATION - COME TO OUR VIRTUAL MEETINGS TO FIND OUT HOW TO MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD!
We are now at the final consultation on the North East Derbyshire local plan - the document which, amongst other things, says where housebuilding will go in future years in our area.
We need lots of residents to comment on this draft to give us the best chance to convince the independent Inspector, who will make the final decision on it, to improve it further (particularly on removing greenbelt).
Usually, we'd hold lots of meetings around the District to highlight how to get involved, providing more detail and to talk through what best to comment on. Coronavirus means that this isn't possible at the moment so, instead, we are going to be holding virtual meetings over the coming weeks. The online meetings will be held on:
* Thursday 19th November 5pm (with a particular focus on Dronfield, Unstone and surrounding areas)
* Wednesday 25th November 6pm (with a particular focus on Killamarsh and surrounds)
* Tuesday 1st December 6pm (with a particular focus on Eckington parish)
* Tuesday 15th December 6pm (with a particular focus on Clay Cross and the south of the District)
